A lot of people would love a job at Facebook, so seeing as it is such a high sought after career option, job candidates probably go through a pretty tough interview process. Heck, even to get my job, my bosses forced me to carry two large buckets of water up a steep staircase in rural Japan. But I digress...
The head of recruiting at Facebook, Miranda Kalinowski, recently told Business Insider what their talent acquisition process is like.
Kalinowski said that one question was very popular among the interviewers, the answer is one that show insight on a candidate's true passions, and shows if they'd be a good fit for the company.
How would you answer it?
“On your very best day at work — the day you come home and think you have the best job in the world — what did you do that day?”
For me, it's probably this:
Hence the reason I don't work at Facebook, I guess.
The question is suppose to show “genuine expression of pride and purpose” from the candidate. My real answer? My perfect day and my perfect job includes a lot of free food and people who think I'm funny while I write about demons.
