The haka is a huge part of Maori culture in New Zealand, most commonly performed before sporting matches, but traditionally used as a warrior battlecry before heading off to fight -- a way for men to declare their strength and physical prowess while showing their sense of camaraderie.
It's also used on special occasions, like this spine-tingling version that was performed by guests at a young New Zealand couple's wedding. The haka was performed by the guests at Benjamin and Aaliyah Armstrong's wedding -- eventually being joined by the young groom and his bride.
"I couldn't help but feel the honor and power of having her by my side," said Armstrong in an interview after the video went viral. See the powerful performance below -- it was enough to bring the bride to tears.
